Starting to have some real fun with this rifle now.
It will shoot very well once I reduce the fliers. I think at this stage the fliers are just my inability to reload the cases consistantly. Still looking for the right charge weight / compression size / wiping procedure, so nearly there 🤣😂🤣😂.

Wondering what Case length others are useing ? .
Some have said 2.00" while others say around 2.200" - 2.227".  The cases (WW) that came with the rifle are all well over that, 2.285" - 2.295". ?

Are WW prone to stretching, and eventually seperating ???
Thanks all. 👍🇦🇺

I have an original cartridge that measures 2.250 inches. Cartridges of the World say 2.230 in. The Manson reamer dimensions call for 2.205 in. If you are unable to do a chamber cast as gunlaker mentions, then I would find the longest case that's fired and push it into the chamber and see if it bumps up against the rifling. If it looks like fired cases are being pulled into the rifling, then it could be stretching but I have not had any stretching of brass with my 38-50. Bob
