Thanks.

You can find a Martini International MKII complete with Fine match grade iron sights for a deal less than half the price if you want a very fine and accurate .22 for Schuetzen or Mini Palma, etc. The triggers are to kill for , too, though not double set.

The MH rifle is kind of neat what with the double set triggers, swiss butt, fancy lever, A lot of Swiss Martini Schuetzen rifles
are around similar to this one.  The Unertl 10X is work probably $800.
But, No iron sights on it.
That MH action is just such a "monster" in size for a .22.

Its high but its also not a Martini-Herny its Austrian or German.
Depending on who you know and were you are the scope is in the 600.00 to 800.00 range and most of those tyrolean style rifles sell in the 1000.00 to 1500.00 range.

Was that once a full octagon barrel that has since been turned down as it does appear to be so to me?
Price to me is to high but it is also souly based on what I can see and more importantly what I cannot.

I might still have a Walt Melander .30 caliber wasp waist mold he cut me 25 years ago.

If I hear another  millenial use the term "node" or "optimal " at the range I'll scream!!!

Of the NEI "Wasp"
If that's the question it was so-so.I was there having Walt cut me the 188DD mold and he talked me into a 2 cavity with one if each.in a very accurate 30BR rifle it was about 1.0 groups at 100 yards.
I'll see if i can run down the mold and get pictures.

I agree that half that price would probably be a good deal. But then, the American gun buyer has fooled (astounded) me many times before.  Roll Eyes

Thanks I did a search for NEI, but came up short. I know that they are no longer making moulds, but was hoping for a chart or old catalog. Something is bound to surface. My experience with the Herter's wasp waist jacketed bullets was less than stellar, accuracy wise, but curious about cast? In a big game hunting cartridge/rifle they might suffice, but I was looking for varmint rifle accuracy at the time.
