Rummaging through my catalogs and came up with an NEI. not sure of a date, but appears they made .284,.308,.410, and .457 wasp waist moulds, all gas check, and as Cbashooter noted, it appears they called them Hornet. The catalog is an old school copy, and not sure what numbern so hard to read. Even stranger looking than the Herter's. But I said the same about Roland Groppe's transonic!!

Enlighten me/us with the results if you would please, out of curiosity.

Of the NEI "Wasp"
If that's the question it was so-so.I was there having Walt cut me the 188DD mold and he talked me into a 2 cavity with one if each.in a very accurate 30BR rifle it was about 1.0 groups at 100 yards.
I'll see if i can run down the mold and get pictures.

I believe NEI called it the" Hornet"

Oops..you are correct. The bullet seemed like it *should* shoot as the bore ride nose engraved nicely and the front band also kissed the rifling.it just didn't work out for me.

If I hear another  millenial use the term "node" or "optimal " at the range I'll scream!!!
