How do I get in touch with a Moderator?  I tried to post in Classifieds but it does not appear there.  Does a Moderator have to approve before it is posted?

What are you seeing as the first ad and the date it was posted?

It’s possible you hit one of the buttons at the top of the ads that change the sorting order.

On the right side it isn’t marked “last post”, it reverses the order to oldest first.

On the left side it is “subject/started by”

Hit the last post button,  see if your post comes back, might need to hit it more than once.

Hi DHB,  the ads are there. Sometimes hitting the refresh button helps the poster see the updated screen. Sometimes logging out and back in works. It is a curiosity within the forum  software. The moderators can’t fix it. I don’t think the webmaster has any way to fix it, either.   Sometimes the post gets sent to the end of the topic listings and that’s another glitch.

I read your ad, you might consider buying a .22 LR or .25 rimfire barrel and having it re-bored or lined. I just did that to a .25 rimfire model 44, had it re-bored to .32 S&W long. .32-20 barrels are fairly common, but a factory .38-40 or .44-40 would be scarce as hen’s teeth. .38-40 or .44-40 would be pushing it in a weak action 44 Stevens imo. .32-20 would be fine if kept on the mild side.
