A VERY NICE Lyman 20x STS just sold on EBay for $1000, which will set a new price standard for future EBay listings. From the pics the box and scope looked nearly new. I was out at $750.

I've been pondering purchasing one of these for the last few weeks.   I placed the order tonight.  I have at least a dozen Unertls, including several that have never been mounted.  I also have some Fecker, Lyman, etc.   I'll let you all know how the old & new compare.  Supposedly, the big advantage of these is the better glass and coatings.   We shall see.   Like someone else said, I generally avoid buying anything from our Communist enemy, but sometimes there's no avoiding it.
