Can Anyone Tell Me

I have two paper patched bullet molds for my .45-60. One has a flat base and one has a slightly cupped base to tuck the paper tail in. Can anyone tell me if the cupped base bullet is legal for BPCR Silhouette?

But, can't imagine why the cupped base would be an advantage. Am interested in your results shooting same.
Is it more accurate than your flat-base bullet?
And, are you shooting a 45-60 or is that a typo?

I tried a cup base bullet, got fliers, dug in the berm and found wads of paper still in the tail, was patched wet. Threw that bullet out,no fliers.

It was a typo, the rifle is 40-65 Win.

I am just getting started with paper patching. The rifle is a Number One Rolling Block that I had re-barreled with a BRC Choked barrel in .40-65 Win. It will be a while before I get to the range with it, but I will post the results.

Thanks for the replies.
