Bob is to modest to brag, but I'm not.  He's been doing some fine shooting with his mutt Ballard as of late.   Smiley

Nice shooting Bob, good looking rifle. If it’s a mute it’s a laberdoodle of the gun world.

Damn nice shooting indeed and a rifle as well.
Bigger is not always better in regards to scope and barrel and not everyone needs to use a barrel sled.
Nice shooting Bob.

Always enjoy shooting with Bob. Definitely one of my favorites on and off of the firing line. Great to see him shooting well!

Yeah Wes, Bob's been doing that sort of shooting for a long time!  Here's an iron sight target at 200 yards that he shot at Raton in the International Schützenfest a few years back..........

Thank you Wes….our conversation was about bullet hardness, I had casted-up some bullets with lead-tin-antimony, which were harder than usual, but they seemed to shoot well. I held the gun and pulled the trigger, but I can’t take full responsibility for the nice target. The barrel is a Winchester (thank you Oliver), the bullet is a Darr Spitzer (thank you Barry), the breech seater is from Glen Goodwill (thank you Glen) the powder is Hodgdon (thank you Chris), lube is Javelina (thank you Jerry) etc., etc. The load data is; 32-40, 14½ grains of H4227, WLR primer, 208 grain Darr spitzer, breech seated with a Glen Goodwill concentric seater.

I had the opportunity to shoot with Bob but only once. He came down to shoot one of our ISSA Regional Matches here in Modesto. Bob is a true gentleman as well and what a blessing it was for me to just to be able to around and to visit with him. Probably also one of the few if not being the only one who also has an extensive collection of documented Schuetzen History and knowledge.

I like the way Bob spread his shots out in the 25 ring. It must have been his modesty that made him let one get out.

One could only hope the overabundance of shooter abilities on this site would be shared more openly on this site.
I truly do Love seeing these amazing targets that are continually being shot! I also wish that more information would also be provided to be able to achieve such remarkable individual results. As well as how these extremely talented individuals have developed such amazing shooting talents themselves. Sometimes there are those that might be to modest to want to share but there are also those who want to learn and should be able to learn from the.very best.

I would be doing great to see the whole target at 200 yds much less trying to use irons on it.
Totally impressive and might I say intimidating we're I on the line with him.
