Lyman 93 front sight

I shoot both iron sights as well as scopes on my single shots.
I like a removeable front sight and am fond of the Lyman 93. I searched high and low for one but Lyman has discontinued making them. Then I found them at Midsouth Shooters. I just received one from them today. Their web page says that they are still in stock. They take 18mm inserts both metal and clear.
here are some links

You must have gotten the last one.  Nothing showing on their site anymore.  I have a couple of Lyman 77 front sights and a Redfield that mount on dovetails.  I too prefer them.

So the dovetailed mount on the muzzle was designed to mount a long tube/scope sight and the 93 could be mounted on the scope mount in lieu of the scope?

I'm not sure if the scope mount at the muzzle will work. My rifles have a 3/8" dovetail at the muzzle and I use one of Steve Earle's cross dovetail block to mount the Lyman 93. If your front scope dovetail is 3/8" then the 93 should work.

Williams  makes a base that will fit too. Several heights available,  midway has them in stock.

MVA makes cross dovetail blocks in various dovetail sizes  .375 to .500, I don’t know if they would work with a Lyman 93 sight, but I would guess that they would.
