Is the 25-35 discussed above a 25-35 winchester cartridge?
Yes.

Yes JerryH is correct but I also designed chambering reamer for the specific use of the Mos 120 grain Spitzer. The Brass I use is just the new Hornady 25-35 brass and it is unaltered.

JLouis, I have the Noe 260-105FN and 260-122FN. I have a Bartlein 9 tw. I was looking at a Saami reamer but how does your differ from Saami. Thanks

Jimh I am not sure how it might differ I never actually looked at a Sammi spec. reamer. If it does differ it would be in the length of the Freebore, the Freebore Diameter and the Leade Angle. These three were specifically designed around the Mos 120 grain Spitzer to provide a precise fit specifically for its use. The intent was to chose a specific a bullet for use and then not having to try several various different bullets that might or might not provide the very best in accuracy. This was the first time that I had tried this approach and it actually worked out extremely well and well beyond my own expectations. All have shot extremely well right out of the gate using this same Mos 120 grain Spritzer that the chamber was designed for.
I hope this makes some sort of sense as it also self centers this breech seated bullet to be more precisely centered in the bore.

Thanks for the reply, yes it makes sense. I was looking at the W-W 25-35 brass dimensions and Saami. I need to cast some bullets and do a lot of measuring. Thanks again.

Please let me know how your 9 twist and the longer bullet of the two works out.
Stability should no be an issue with it.
I and others also fully engrave the bullet up to or in my case just past the base.
