Davenport schuetzen club (Read 2019 times)

	I was there years ago but can't remember how to get there. Anybody have a contact? I'm retired enough I think I have time to do some shooting this year.

	It is about 1500 miles from my driveway in SW Idaho, but if my back holds out I want to shoot there at least once before I get too old. I hear their matches are well set up and attended. Rich

	Mike who brought you to DSA before? Brad is our Club Secretary. We are a even bigger secret since our website went down. We are in the process of getting a new one up. We have monthly rimfire matches and members participate in various postal and local matches in the winter. During the summer we also do monthly cf which I have not put together a schedule for yet. Last years they were 20 shot bench 20 shot offhand matches with occasional group thrown in. Summer rimfire are 200 yd offhand only matches. Davenport is strictly a Schuetzen club, we have no other type of matches or allow any jacketed high velocity shooting. Our Schuetzenfest in mid Sept is Cf and Rimfire, 3 days of shooting. I hear we already have 22 sign ups with 36 max. Picture is of club house and cf bench range.

	I have known Matt Stoley and Clark Ehlers for years. Nobody brought me last time, I just found it by the address which I don't have anymore. It's way out in the sticks as I recall. There was an indoor shoot going on at the time as it was March...I think. Anyway. I'm nearly retired and have time to shoot now. I even have an off hand gun and a bench gun now to shoot. I'm out by New Liberty now so it will be a relatively reasonable drive. Would some body PM me the address of the club so I can google it and figure out how to get there? 	Yes, sign me up too! I plan to make three matches this year. 1. Hamilton, MT. 2 Raton for the big dance. 3. Davenport for the Schuetzenfest in September. 73rd B-day celebration. Rich
