Stevens sight question

I know (from an old catalog) that Stevens offered other sights other then their own to be put on some rifles. Lyman being one of them. Would they ever have put on a Winchester sight or one that copied a 1876 sight?

On one hand, a customer back then could usually have what he paid for.  On the other, considering that pre-WWI, their dovetails usually didn't jibe with Winchester's, Stevens might have balked.  On the third hand (being an alien), many popular sight forms were more or less copied across manufacturers.

Can you show us a picture?

I would be doubtful that it was factory installed, but possibly. Lots of vintage rifles have period replacement sights. As a collector original sights are important, as a shooter not so much.
