The threatened fog didn't materialize, and it was actually not that cold – a very nice weather day in fact! Wind was mild most of the time,
but caused some rather bad remarks when it made some weird switches. (sorry about that) Jack supplied that show and tell with his
Peterson Ballard 32-40 – what a beautiful rifle!

Our motley crew, minus Jerry Cleave (our Schuetzenmeister) who took the picture. Left to right, Jack Barrett (Turlock, CA), Steve Stewart (Miramonte, CA), Rich Davis (Clovis, CA), & Jerry Hartwig (Easton, CA).

For you guys who are looking at nothing but white stuff out of your windows, check out the green hillsides in the background. This is January in the foothills of the Central Valley of California.  Cool

I'm not a complete idiot, some of my parts are missing.

Smoke,   You are way off base, I was born and raised in the Santa Clara Valley of California. Which was, in the 1940's and 50's, to me, about as beautiful a valley as any on this earth,  but a lot has changed, and I can assure you, I have absolutely no regrets regarding my decision to leave long ago.
