I built this rifle about 2010 intending it primarily for 50’ indoor offhand @ the Wheaton Rifle Club in Illinois. (That’s a winter survival tactic w/lunch afterward by our Geezer League). It started with a Winder Lowall action I fitted w/a 26” #5 wt. barrel & a TJ liner. My stockwork & Wayne Belec checkering. I went ahead and fluted the barrel to get the weight down to 13 lbs.  with the scope & palm rest. It all worked just fine except for me not foreseeing a switch to shooting right handed a few years hence! I guess it can stand a coat of dust.
