My old bags seams are leaking sand, need high quality new ones. Protector? Other suggestions, hard or soft bottom?
Thanks Mike

Hard bottom with donut included so it does rock. Ear height and width of slot depend on what you have. Tall ears can touch the check rest. Tall bag is personal preference I like the tall one I like to sit more up right
Front bag I had David at Protector USA custom make mine as shown below. He will also make you anything that you need should you have a design of your own in mind. My front bag cost me the same as an in stock bag.

Edgewood make some really nice and durable bags. I have had very good luck with Protector for a long time. They now have many more choices than when I first bought mine, and as JLouis said, they will make custom bags to your specifications.

David if still there at Protector USA is a super nice guy.
I just talked to him and we walked through what I exactly wanted. No drawing required and I got exactly what I had asked for. The barrel radius to fit my barrel was absolutely perfect and if memory serves me right I had in hand in less than two weeks and maybe even sooner but no longer than. Total cost was 39 dollars and in hand including shipping and the bag being filled. I probably should have by passed the bag being filled as I had to dump some of it to make it. 50/ 50 heavy sand and Parakeet Gravel

I have front and rear Protektor bags. There are many different styles, but I also happen to have settled on an Edgewood set.

This is the Edgewood bag I use. It works really well for me. Be sure to fill it with black sand so it's heavy and stays in place while shooting.
