San Diego Schützenguilde
7 January 2022, 100 yards
(12/21 match held over)
10-Ring Target, Iron Sights

A chilly morning to make up our rained out December match/ Blanket Shoot.  The early winds died out by about 9 o'clock and the sun warmed things up nicely.  All in all, very nice weather and shooting conditions.  There were lots of nice prizes donated and everyone got a couple of picks.  We'll hold the .22RF match on the fourth Sunday - Jan 23.  Course of fire will be 50 shots benchrest and 50 shots offhand at 100 yards with any sights.  Juniors have been invited to shoot as well, and they can compete at 50 yards if they wish.

Nice shooting guys.

Your post seems incomplete without pictures of the always photogenic German fire nozzles. Hint hint!

Thanks Wes,  Schuetzenbob was a bit under the weather - thus the lack of pictures. Wink

Haenel - Kleinkaliber - Sportbüchse

The Seibert rear sight, with a diopter in it, came with the gun.  The Lyman front sight was made to slip in the front sight base, but I still have the pin front sight and original saddle sight. The palm rest was added later.
