Happy Day!!

A friend who owed me some $$$ stopped by today.  He's a flintlock guy, but that's okay.  In 1982 his Father won a big match at the Nationals in Friendship, IN.  His prize was a Bill Large barrel with a fixed breech percussion.  1" barrel, 38" long, 1:48 twist.  It has never had anything done to it other than oiling it.  He offered me the barrel, even up for the debt.  Yes!

There is now a fullstock J&S cap gun in my future.

Celebrate,

Rich

Bill Large's barrels are the best modern ML barrels made! That's a great barrel to build a ML on.
I just sold my Vincent half stock with Bill Large 4 J's .38 barrel to my son in law last week. He wanted to get into a ML and I never used it.
