Hello Schuetzen Shooters:
I am so sad to tell you of the passing of our friend, Gloria Bell.  Gloria was a friend to all and a great competitor.  As long as she could be on
second relay (Gloria HATED to get up early) Gloria was happy shooting away and visiting with all those she encountered.  During Raton if  Gloria wasn't shooting a match she could be found in the scoring shack and/or back at camp preparing a delicious meal for her friends.  For many years Gloria and Pat Weber hosted the Sunday evening pot luck at Raton.  Gloria will be greatly missed.

Gloria entered the hospital the latter part of October having been diagnosed with COVID.  It was all downhill from there but she did waken and
rally a few days prior to her death on December 23, and was able to have a conversation with her son, Shannon.

Expressions of condolence may be sent to her son, Shannon Bell   5831 Wasatch Dr.  Mountain Green, UT 84050.

With tears in my eyes,

Sue Miller

Gloria and Ron were always great to be around.  I enjoyed their company at Tommy’s range.  It is sad to hear of her passing.

Both Gloria and Ron Bell were fixtures in the Schuetzen game since the early Coors Schuetzenfest days. Ron passed a couple of years ago and now Gloria is gone also.
They will be missed deeply by all of us who knew them.

There are indeed two Americas. Simply put, it is not the haves and have nots. The two Americans are in reality divided into those who do and those who don't.

I had the pleasure to shoot and to visit with the both of them at our ISSA Regional events.
Very nice people indeed and they will be missed by all who knew them.
Rest in peace old friends and may God always be with you.
