Vintage scope mount ID

I am getting a few "non-traditional" scope mounts with older scoped rifles and am hoping that someone can suggest origins. These are on a Stevens tip-up and an original Winchester 8X scope. The rear mount is pretty basic but machined very well. The front clamp mount seems to be distinctive. Thank you. Wayne

Another clamp type mount - this one on both ends - on a Stevens pocket rifle with an unidentified (Wollensak?) scope. This one lets me shoot very accurately.

While I like those mounts, I think there's some artistic license involved.  Roll Eyes

I agree. They're neat, but I think homemade by someone with some machining skills.

I agree that these mounts are almost surely user-made.  But I'm particularly impressed by the second set - except that the scope appears locked into the front mount via a top screw, even allowing for Stevens pocket rifles usually being chambered in the smaller rimfire calibers.

I appreciate the feed back very much. Both front clamps are of such quality of finish that I am still convinced that they were made by some sort of production line or, at lease, a limited run. MrTipUp: The pocket rifle front clamp is d&t'd for a set screw but none is present and there is no marring on the tube to indicate that it ever was, The tube is held solid anyway, apparently by the clamping action on the barrel, as the rear mount performs as expected - with appropriate give on the tension plunger. If the rifle rear mount had anything other than big box DIY store screws, I would be less prone to believe that it is indeed "home made."
