The biggest problem I find with the CPA or even the original 44 , 44 1/2 , in the rimfire versions it's almost necessary to completely chamber the round with your thumb or finger so as to be sure the extractor doesn't jump the rim and let the cartridge seat before the extractor does. If that happens and you don't catch it, close the breech block, that powder and brass shrapnel going up your nose is not a pleasant experience.
