	I have a stock blank I bought 10-15 years ago. I keep moving it around my little gun room from corner to corner and have finally decided to use it on my Ballard straight grip No.3 barreled-action. This is an early barreled-action with the flat top receiver and heavier barrel. Who can I send it to to shape it like a pre-inlet blank? - I know Treebone Carving can do it but they will not cut the tapered section for the tang. - I think CPA might be able to do it but I sent a long list of questions by email and probably ruined my chance of them taking this on. Any help is appreciated ...

	Joe, in my experience it's better to call and talk to Gail at CPA if the request is long and involved. They sell a line of Ballard butt stocks so they should be able to do it. I know their stockmaker has been ill so it may take a while.
