74 years old & if I could see targets better would hit them better. 6 months ago regular checkup Doc says I have mild Glaucoma, this from eye pressure test.. Prescribes drops I took fairly regularly . Missed a few nights here and there. Recent checkup he says it’s not getting better & wants to do SLT surgery, claims its more effective than drops. Also says it does not correct just slows down increases in pressure

Anybody have experience with the procedure? Did it affect your shooting.  Also note posted the same question on Sporting Clays forum, another eyesight sport.

Boats, the SLT is a new one on me. I have had the cataract surgery with lens inserted and it is better than sliced bread. I read a little about your condition and it seems to be highly effective and repeatable if the surgery "wears off". Also seems to be a rather ho-hum procedure and has rare side effects. VA covered?
