With near perfect conditions Brushy Mountain Club in Hurt, VA hosted the Fall Schuetzenfest for the Chinquapin Schuetzenverein on 24&25 September.  We had a total of 11 shooters over the course of the two days with almost a complete change of "personnel" between days!  Results were as follows;

100 yd BR 22rf
Dale Flinchum                  246-6C
John Longest                  244-5C
Jim Rowe                        244-5C (1 more 23)
James Wheeler                  240-4C
TommyHoward                  237-3C

100 yd BR CF Irons
Timothy Kuntz                  223-1C
Ben Rhyne                        213-1C

200 yd BR CF
Ray Hoagland (32-20 CPA)            247-8C
Ray Hoagland (25-20)            247-7C
Jim Rowe                                244-4C
Stuart Mahler                        239-5C
Tommy Howard                          237-3C
John Longest                        235-3C

200 yd BR 22rf
Ben Rhyne                                216-1C
Timothy Kuntz                        194

Susan Cohen & Charlie Shaeff both shot also, but didn't turn in targets for score.  Huh

Everyone commented on what a perfect weekend this was for weather, and we had good lunches both days, the second with the 4-H Club who were having their Shotgun Tournament the same day at BMC.

We are already planning to have another fine gathering on 24&25 June next year.  Save a spot on your calendar to join us.
