	Hi, I'm looking for any information about this medal. I believe it was a medal for a shooting competition. Thanks!

	I would call it more a "participant" medallion. It appears to have been for a special gathering (Sonderbund) of the statewide? Schuetzenbund (shooting association)

	I believe that is the state seal of Ohio seen on the face of the medal. That may mean it is the state championship or similar. Just supposin' because I really don't know.

	I think this may be the ancestor of the modern Schuetzenfests put on by the Kolping Society of Cincinnati. I recall reading something about it at their schuetzenfest I was at this summer (air rifles now). I'll see if I can confirm.
