We should have all shot 250's, but the light smoke from the fires up north made target definition a little rough – especially with the irons. A little warm (high of 104) but not too bad for the first relays.

	Interesting results, seems like Mr Hartwig is the man to beat, same brand rifle as my 40-60, obviously a man of taste. There seemed to be a shortage of BP shooters, is there some reason for that ?. Mike.

	Mike, No real reason for not using BP other than fouling control in the small cartridges most of us use. I have a 40-50 SS project that I plan to use BP in, if I ever get it finished. Jerry

	Jerry If you do get round to trying BP in a small cartridge please let me know how it goes, I'm considering a 32.40 to reduce lead and powder usage and recoil. Having to clean between shots is no problem to me as I've been doing it for 65 years. Mike.
