Murder Hornet larvae are .40 caliber but are .50 caliber as adults.

It looks like you need to increase the casting temperature as the bullets are not filling out the mold very good.  Tom

It also does not happen if you store the molds in an
ammo can with good gasket and a couple pieces of VPI paper.
No Larvae and no rust
