Barry was always very intent in trying to make the sport of Schuetzen affordable for everyone. Even while he was here and he bought numerous Ruger numbers one's back in his day and he would re-barrel them as he could still use the original forearms and butt stocks. Every job he did he would personally out to the range before he would sell it to customer. He would then give the owner all of the load information to the customer along with the bullet mould he used and his own range results for each individual rifle he built. If it was not competitive it simply did not leave his Rifle Shop.

Joe Do... Below is a picture of Claude Roderick and Barry Darr who were extremely close Friends. Both lived around your area back in the day. If memory serves me right Claude lived in Monet. Claude is on the left and Barry is on the right. Keith Myers dad Bob also visited Claude several times with Barry and Bob was thee man to man to beat. Keith can also add allot to this conversation he grew up around Barry and his kids
