Lyman ST-Unertl comparing front ring..

I Have a Lyman ST with A cracked front ring/base.Steve Earl says his Unertl replacement is different on center height? One of you guys have a chance if you own one of each scope take some rough measurement and post it here. I'd like to know before I order one.Might help someone else also. I appreciate it,Pete

Either way would not a different height front ring base take care of it and one that Steve Earl could easily make. Or I am possibly missing something that you are trying to point out such as just for the sake of being curious.

I just recieved a set of Steves mounts that I put on a Fecker. They are perfect, tight and have good positive clicks.  they appear to be the same size as the old ones I took off. I am sure they will not shoot to the same place as the old ones but i didn't expect that.
