Marlin Ballard No.2 at auction

FYI, there is a Marlin-Ballard No.2 at action that appears/writing to be worth someones in ASSRA review. I have dealt with this auction house previously, and found them to be excellent at communicating with me, and quite reasonable in their shipping.

Ballards may be weaker,
but they sure are neater!

A straight grip #2 receiver, fitted with an aftermarket pistol grip stock. Not .32 RF, but should be reversible firing pin to shoot RF or CF. It's also got a early Brown Mfg. lever as used on the very earliest JM Marlin marked rifles. Can't make out the frame rollstamps to determine if this is an early JM Marlin Ballard or not?
If it doesn't go too high, it might be worth someone bidding, if they don't care that it's a modified Ballard.
