Calling it Quits.

Well, I just sold my last Single Shot. My eye's have got worse over the past few months and I just can't do it anymore. I don't go on this forum much anymore as it's very hard to read. But I do want to thank some of you for answering my many questions over the years. John Lewis, Jerry Hartwig, Bill Lawerence to name a few. And especially Vall Miller. If it wasn't for him, I never would of gone to the Denver Gun Show a few years back. Met him and alot of other great folks on this forum there. Signing off.  Dale.

So sorry to see this post Dale, and know you've gotten to this point with your eyesight. Will keep in touch away from this forum, and hope for the best for you in the future!
I've enjoyed meeting you, and conversing about guns, and many other things over the years!

I'm with Vall and I'm sure many others in my reaction to your email, Dale.  We never met in person, but I'll always wish we had.

I'm really sorry to see this Dale. The last time we spoke you told me this day was coming. I just hoped it wouldn't be this soon.

Dale it is I who have enjoyed you from the first time we met on this site. It is not always about shooting but people like yourself who have made my own life allot more enjoyable. You will always be in my Prayers my Friend and this site will not be the same without you being present.

Dale, I’m only a telephone call away.  Please don’t hesitate to pick up the phone and I will give you calls to check in on you or to just shoot the breeze …. My Best Regards

Sorry to hear about your deteriorating  eyesight. So many things we take for granted as we age until we lose it!
I think of you often when I get the old Hepburn 32-20 out and shoot it. It’s a neat old gun that I bought from you several years back off this forum. Wishing you the best!

Dale,
This really pulls at the heart strings.
It was a pleasure to meet you at the Denver show.
The reloading tools we've purchased from you have been put to good use, (a newbie and a couple of my students).  The HW I bought from you went to a good home and is creating another dedicated shooter.  Thank you for everything and in case I failed to mention it lately, thank you for your service to our country.
Best Regards,
Greg
