Simmons tool decapping pin

Bought a Jerry Simmons re-decapper back in the '80's and finally broke the decapping pin.  Can anyone tell me whose pins he used for his tools?
Thanks,

There are indeed two Americas. Simply put, it is not the haves and have nots. The two Americans are in reality divided into those who do and those who don't.

I believe Randy is right in all cases.  Every Simmons tool I ever saw was equipped with Lyman pins.  Jake was a creature of habit in many ways, and since he started out using the commonly available Lyman decapping pins, he would have had no reason to change.
My shooting box has a tiny vial with about 3-6 replacement pins in it.  Most experienced users of Jake’s tool kept at least one or two spares.

I sure miss sitting on the tailgate of Jake’s old pickup at Beeson’s Range and solving the World’s problems.  Cry

You brought up a very good point Froggy
My Mos built 25-21 also used the Lyman Decapping Pin as its firing pin.

OTOH, the elegant Dave Arawinko tool uses hard to find RCBS pins with heads.  They look like the Lyman but are slightly different.  Also they should be shortened slightly to work best in Dave’s tool... but that brass tool is so very cool, it’s worth the extra effort.
Does anyone know what the Cleave tool uses?
