Ideal Blackpowder Dippers

I came into what I believe are Ideal Blackpowder dippers, brass and nickel-plated.  I tried measuring the inside diameter and height in inches, convert volume to CCs, then using the formula of 1cc per 15grains (volume).  Any suggestions about how I go about finding out what I have?  I believe the capacities are roughly:  9, 14, 17, 19, 20, 39.  Is there an old pamphlet somewhere?  Thanks.

Get a syringe marked in cc's. Fill it with water. Note where you start. Fill a dipper with it. Subtract ending volume in syringe from beginning.
Or trade me your Ideal dippers for my Lee dippers marked in cc's.  Grin

Looked in some old Ideal manuals, plus one Lyman/Ideal manual from right after the name change, but can't see any listing for the dippers. Guessing they date earlier than the manuals I own?
You might contact Cornell Publications and ask which of their Ideal reprinted manuals covers the dippers and order one from them? They list reprints back into the early 1890's at their site.

Thank you for the info.  I did some research but found nothing specifically on dippers, or charging cups, as Ideal called them on flyers/instructions. I did discover, using IMR4227 that one of the "cups" holds the same volume of powder as my Winchester 40gr dipper. Smiley  Don't worry, just for comparison.

Now I have to find a syringe to determine what I have for the rest so to pass them on to someone else.

My research suggests that the dippers were sold only as part of a loading set and were not priced or identified by themselves.  Also, some maker (Winchester?) stamped numbers on their dippers which I've always presumed stood for "grains" of some grade of powder every reloader back then would have been presumed to know.  Finally, I've also assumed that those dippers stamped "BLACK POWDER" did not appear until after smokeless gained a foothold.
