Extremely hot, like 112F. Noticed my lube got perty loose while stored in the trunk. Lube did fine in the bullets but I didn't leave them in the trunk.
Pete had to relube a few.

That's crazy.  Meanwhile, here in Texas, tomorrow is the 172nd annual King & Queen shoot at the New Braunfels Schuetzen Verein.
High temperature forecast of 87 !!! Green and lush everywhere you look in Texas right now.
Our normal for this time of year is around 100 and everything burnt to a crisp.

My lube is 75% Javelina Schuetzen Lube and 25% Dell 59C and it handles that type of temperature very well. As well as being down in the 30's during that time of the year. .

Well I hate seeing anybody have to endure this heat, but at least it's not here anymore! Latest count we lost 95 lives here during the 4 day heat wave here last weekend!

It was 104 when I got there Monday afternoon and trying to sleep in the back of my SUV was not fun, especially since I had developed a persistent cough as my cold was progressing.  After a sleepless night, I only managed to shoot the first day's matches and headed home for some much needed relief and sleep.  It was 108 at noon as I left the area and the forecast for the next day was 113. A couple of others left Tuesday as well after trying to sleep in the un-airconditioned bunkhouse.  The range was a ghost town in the hot afternoon as everyone else was comfortably in their trailers.

I am the one who thinks 75 is too hot.  When it is 90 at 3 am, I wonder if I should move to Alaska!

No sense saying how it has cooled a bit in Canada.

Lytton, British Columbia, Canada (prior to burning to the ground by a forest fire):

Sunday: 46.1 C. (115 F.)
Monday: 47.9 C. (118 F.)
Tuesday 49.5 C. (121 F.)

So you forgot the ice and beer at home Jack?
Nope I would not leave a dog or sleep in a Jeep.

It is also hot in Alaska causing Ice Quakes from rapidly melting glaciers.

Be interesting to know what the actual trunk temp was if outside was 114.

Couldn't close the trunk with bare hands. Had to use a tissue to hold it down till the electric lock took hold.

I forgot to check the cars outside temp. Third day we got a little breeze up the mountain that helped a lot.
The heat made some a little cranky.
