I took my 1865-1866 period .56-50 rimfire Remington split breech carbine to the range today. I was trying out a new load and a new bullet (Eras Gone Smith carbine bullet). After shooting at 50 yards to see where it hit, I moved over to the 100 yard gong for my last couple shots. I made a short video. Needless to say, my aging eyes and barrel sights are a challenge. Great fun bringing this old time roller back to life
