Lazy Saturday afternoon, I don’t believe I ever posted these photos. Hope you enjoy them. I got this rifle in 2016, now that I have retired I’ll have some time to work with it. It is 8x50r Mannlicher, the bore slugs .325. I am finally getting a mold courtesy of one of the members. It is a takedown.

Yum! I had a BSA Lee-Speed Sporter in 8x50R. Good cartridge. Make that a double yum!

Great hunting rifle!

Patent, not patient.

Very nice indeed. What does that rectangular metal "tab" on the top tang of the stock do?

Grip safety, the lever on the side unscrews and the rifle comes apart behind the block. I only wish the rifle had not been modified for a scope.

Yes, I think the scope modification is horrible! I think you should sell me the rifle to remove it from your sight;-)

Ya, that is terrible.  I will give you a crisp new one-hundred dollar bill for it; and promise not to ever tell anybody who I got it from... Smiley
