This is either the laugh of the day or will make you burst into tears.  I don't know who deserves a slap upside the head more, the guy who cobbled this thing together, or the nitwit that thinks it's worth a fortune.

Ugliness is also in the eyes of the beholder.  My own take is that it's a quite clever and maybe even practical period rendition of a poacher's or taxidermist's gun.  The valuation is ridiculous, no question; but one can always hope that the seller can be convinced to be more reasonable about that.

That's a Model 1867 Remington Rolling Block pistol action. Someone had a purpose for a firearm like this. It's actually not that badly done, but is certainly overpriced.

I was thinking (AT FIRST) that the attachment hardware had been from a Colt revolver. But upon looking at it for a while, I don't know what it may be from, or if it's made up for this application. Either way, it's ugly to me. And way too high price.
