Purchasing a scope ring stop

In March I posted a need for a scope ring stop on this forum. On March 17 I received a PM asking me to make an offer. My offer of $30 was accepted and I mailed it directly. Apparently the mail was slow, but then I received this:

Jim, So the money comes today. I had an envelope ready to go. I had the ring and darned if my screw and nut are missing now. Your money is coming back and if I find the screw and nut I'll let you know.

Apparently the mail is still slow.  Glad it was only $30.

Back into Hospital, now a Home to recover. I'll have one of the staff help clear this up.

Tim,
My apologies to you. The money is of no significance. My best wishes for your speedy recovery.

So sorry. In an accident, hospital, bedridden. I haven't been able to walk much w/out help, no stairs. I sent someone upstairs and it was on the desk.  I will get it out to you.  Apologies, Tim.

1st complaint in 14 years , consider me spanked.
