I need to refresh my memory, Stevens put unmarked tang sights on the Walnut Hill early rifles anyway, it is a Lyman, only thing on it is a "P" underneath. Thanks in advance.

Lyman 103 alright. Made specifically for the Walnut Hill as I recall.

From what I've been told the correct sight for the Walnut Hill is the Lyman 144. Much rarer than a 103. I have one on my 44.

The 144. It was the one made for Stevens (the company, not a Stevens) for use on their guns.                      i

144 is the right answer. My memory failed me again. I have several and know what they are but pulled it out of memory incorrectly.
