I know some of you have questions about the quality of the externally adjustable mounts from HiLux and this video might be helpful. As I have noted in the past a friend bought a set of these mounts for a 28" tube sight that I made for him. And after a little clean up and few adjustments that actually worked very well and I believe the ones on this scope are there newly redesigned version. In the second video you can more clearly see the finished quality of the mounts themselves and basically the same as we received.

And a video on the mount and the one I should have posted in the first place but I just now found it. Also a comparison on the earlier ones.

Those are all nice videos, and I enjoyed their casual editing and not taking out all the commentators errors.
I hadn't heard of issues with the Lyman style mounts by Hi Lux. The mounts I heard issues about were their long range Malcom style rear mounts that sit up much taller, and can break at their base.

Enjoyed the videos, Thank you for posting the links. A new Hi Lux scope might be in my future.
