Very nicely done!

Those little Favorites are not only worthy projects in themselves, but good practice for the refurbishment of “adult” size single shots.  About everything but barrel threading will come into play.

Thank you sir, this little project has been a great learning experience for me.
This little rifle actually balances really good with the 22" heavy barrel.

I like it, are you going to color case or rust blue the frame?

Thank you sir,
I had planned to cold blue the frame but the frame and lever has some pretty deep pits and I think to get a uniform finish I would have to sand/grind too much,  so I'll leave it as is.

You might consider case coloring as it can do a credible job of hiding pits if not too drastic.

Very nice job.
how is the eye relief on your scope, looks a bit far from your eye.

Most modern scopes have considerably more eye relief than the older traditional externally adjusted scopes. There is room to bring the scope back another quarter inch, so would guess he has it set correctly for him.

It's in a comfortable position for me.  This little rifle is really nice to shoot.
Enjoyed working on it and hope to find another project soon.
