For years I have had the plans for this de Haas .22 single shot action. Due to covid, I had time and went for it. I have it 'finished' but have extreme frustration with the rotary lock spring made of piano wire. I wonder if anyone has found a workable alternative. Anyone who has tried to work with it could not avoid these thoughts!

you need to contact greg, gt on the forum here.we made some coil springs for the hi walls/ lowalls we did in his class and i have seen a coil spring modification he did to a farrow he made from a rodney story casting.he plays with these a lot. tony <><
