Rimire accuracy is a never ending Journey. Once you find a brand and lot number that works and then run out. There is no more going back to get the same and then the Journey starts all over again. Back in the day the old Winchester T-22 Target shot very well and I could always find a brick for sale at several stores here in town for $9.99. Even shot it in a few hundred yard matches now gone. And I always used it for rimfire silhouette and it to is now gone. Also used it in our 100 shot offhand gallery matches in my CPA and it too is also now gone. It was also bad medicine for ground squirrels I bought a MAS 45 22 military training rifle still covered with cosmoline and it too like the T-22 and I also don't recall having any fliers with using it and it too is now gone at least around here.

Nope unfortunately you are wrong again but feel free to keep trying to get it right. Myself I need to move onto something else that is in a more positive direction.

Not at all I don't have a sore spot just didn't see anything useful coming from it but maybe somebody else did. We all have something to say so please keep on speaking up someone might find it helpful when we are all doing so.

I’ve seen this before. What piqued my interest was his statement about his experience with “ the highest level of rimfire precision”  then shows you, largely nice factory guns that represents nothing of the sort.
With those guns he rationalizes the never clean, ever approach which is  just simply absurd.
On another forum, a comp shooter published parts of Anschutz and Blieker manuals with nice, detailed pictures about suggested cleaning approaches.
My guess would be, they’re a bit closer to the precision rimfire world.

Most useful part was seeing a nice neat way to store rifles on the wall.

Everyone has to start somewhere in their search for accuracy. When I first started shooting competitive Schuetzen matches my first goal was to come in second to last. It took me two years to reach that first personal goal and then I went onto set my next. That goes back to 1998 and those at the top wanted to remain there so they would not provide any advice. When I finally reached that point I had already made a personal commitment that I would never do the same to anyone else. The more that you have at the top of that list the more you have to also push yourself. And my own goal ever since has been to help others to get there as quickly as they possibly can in all truth and honestly to the best of my ability at the time. And to continue to share as I was also now being pushed to continue to improve myself.

I was at an auction recently where an unopened case of T-22's went up. That's 10 bricks of 500. It knocked down for $1,350. If my math is correct, that's 27 cents a shot. Crazy. ratseye

It seems that prices on stuff that should be common are just going wild. It seems that  a lot of people did find the T-22 stuff to be quite good, makes me wonder why Winchester dropped it. On the up side, there seems to be a lot of very good .22 ammunition being made these days if you can find and afford it.
Now in reading over all of this, I have kind of formed a question that has been nagging me and finally got the best of me to I figured I would throw it out and see what happens.
I have seen posted in places that there are a number of different chamber reamers available for the .22 Rimfire. I was wondering if someone ever took a quality RF barrel  and ran a test where they kept rechambering the barrel with the different reamers to see what difference each made in the accuracy? I wouldn't think it would have to be done with match grade ammunition, just any quality ammo would work I would think.
