The workmanship on Pennsylvania Rifles then and now, are the same quality that are put into the making of Schuetzen Rifles

Marlinguy, Ya, I would bet it is being built by Ron Scott, he is a very good builder.   Pretty sure I met him a few years ago in Bowling Green at the longrifle seminars and I believe he teaches a class there now.

Glad to see I am not the only ML fan here.

I have a couple flinters in the gunroom, a Zihn, a Bergmann., and a GL Jones.

The John Bergmann is a full stock flinter in the style of Jacob Hawken.  If you look at the Track of the Wolf catalog, there are pictures of a J Hawken built by John.  I had him replicate it last year.  I traded into a Bill Large .50 cal barrel with a percussion snail breech plug a while back, and John is going to replicate the basic rifle I have in percussion as an early full stock J&S.
