1859 Sharps Rifle .52 Calibre (Cape Outfitters)

Looking at buying this gun , it is in very good condition appears to have seen very little use. Seller says it's a replica from a company called Cape Outfitters. This is a percussion breechloading rifle which is why it appeals to me as I've never had one.

Any and all feedback on the model, maker would be greatly appreciated. Also any indication of reasonable value would be helpful.

Thanks, Retreever

If it's an IAB, then the bore is most likely 54cal but may measure as large as 55. I have two of the IAB 1863 Sharps carbines for competition use in the North South Skirmish Association. Both shoot one hole groups at 50yd. Both use a .555 bullet. Your decision really depends on the asking price.
