Can anyone tell who would have made these (2) sights.

First one is a 3" staff, only elevation.

Second is a 4" staff with elevation and windage.

hi retriever,  the first one is a winchester midrange,  the knurling does not look to be original.are there any markings on the bottom of the base or under the spring?it looks to be a well made sight. the second is a pedersoli we used to call a rock and roll because the windage would pendulum the eyecup.   tony <><

Ballards may be weaker,
but they sure are neater!

First one looks like the one Jeff's Outfitters sold that was a copy of a Winchester Midrange tang sight.
Second one is one of the cheap ones like Track of the Wolf sells. Very crude, and the windage puts the staff at an angle, so windage changes as you raise the aperture. A horrible sight, with lots of slop in the adjustments.

Thanks guys, I'm selling both of them and saving up for an MVA or something similar quality.

Jeff's sold their Winchester mid-range for $79 when they ended sales a few years ago. The other still sells for about that price at Track of the Wolf.
