3/4" tube scope lens covers

I have several A5 & B5 scopes on Winchester Hi & Lo walls and would like to find end caps of some type to protect the lens from damage & dirt. Can't find them using the usual search methods so I thought I'd post this thread. Anyone have a means to protect the scope ends on these 3/4" tube scopes?

I have found the rubber caps for plastic tubing used to hold cutting tools work well. They come in all sizes and amazon, ebay, and Mc master have or did them.

I checked ebay, and for 3/4 inch black rubber caps, they run about $1.00 shipped.

Used glue-on 1/2" PVC (white stuff) pipe caps. Cut a groove for a 3/4" O-ring.
Caps pop when you remove them.

How about common cork stoppers. Hardware stores have them. If you get the proper size they remain in place better than you might think.

Thanks, that gives me a number of decent choices to try. The knurled rings made finding good choices difficult. Not just a simple 3/4" tube.

The rubber caps I am refering to are pliable enough to slip over the knurled rings you are mentioning. I use them on all from Winchester A5 to Lyman 5A, Fecker, Cummins, Sidle etc. Many newer scopes of course, have screw in caps, Unertl, STS, etc. They come in black, which I think look best. The leather caps look period, but I can forgo period at $40 to $2 for rubber. I do hope you find what works best for you.
