stolen from FB:

Rangeshooter (1830) with his "loader", also called "Windschmöcker" (*Windtaster/smeller), which wispers strenght and direction of the wind in his ear or makes him aware of a noticable, restless aiming procedure and who's ready to, at the right moment is cocking the gun, as a sign for the shooter, that he may depress the trigger.
Found in "History of the Eidg. Waffenfabrik Bern". Sorry for the less than stellar quality.

That's just weird. But, okay, I want one too, hell why not!

What I noticed was that both rifles have the dreaded ridiculed palm rest attached. 

Swiss? Looks German to me

I like the butt under the coat and the unique trigger grip. The big hooters might make it difficult to get close enough to whisper directions in your ear and if she did it might be distracting, especially the part where she cocks your hammer.
