OK all you fans of tang sights....there's a Carver rack & pinion tang sight currently on evilbay. Interesting setup for such a basic sight (no windage on this variation) and I've always liked the way the Carver sight's slotted base allowed mounting on different rifles. Nice addition for a collector & no, I'm not interested in this one.

Very interesting Spud. I always liked the slotted bases. Carver had a lot of good ideas. Tom Rowe’s sight book and reloading tool book show some of his stuff.  That one is a new one to me, thanks for shareing.
