#2 Remington 32-20

Just completed a #2 Remington for a client. 32 rim fire that I converted to center fire and lined the barrel and chambered in 32-20. The trigger guard was re-contoured more like a #1 sporting model and the checkering on the hammer and breech block was re-cut. Everything was hand polished and sent to Allen Springer at Snowy Mountain Blue for color case and rust blue. George Petersen from Treebone carving supplied the European walnut blanks that were fitted and shaped and finished with a hand rubbed oil finish and a point pattern checkering. There is a full compliment of sights from MVA. Starting at the muzzle is a Beeches combination, then a Rough and Ready and finally a #130 tang sight. It should give the owner a lot of enjoyment either at the range or in the field.

Sam, a rifle to be proud of
Might add, the combination fore sight was invented by Edward Beach, not “Beeches combination”. Don’t feel alone, many prominent vendors had incorrectly spelled it wrong too

Always been happy with my #2 in .32-20 until I saw this gorgeous bit of workmanship! Not so much now.
That's a spectacular gun that the owner should be extremely happy with!
That barrel looks longer than the standard #2 barrel. What length is it?

Really like the .32-20. Don't have a single shot.
That beautiful rifle is surely making me envious.

Oh my!
How could that No.2 possibly be improved upon? Wish it were mine.
Thanks for posting.

Thought so. I get weak in the knees for extra length barrels! That's a very nice #2!
