My thanks to all who offered help earlier this year when I couldn't find any loads listed for my new/old custom built flat spring High Wall in 7mm/303 epps with 24" barrel and a 1 in 10 twist rate and especially to bulseyetom who worked out some loadings with a computer program using Australian ADI powder based on the weight of water in my fired cases.
Started off ten percent lower than the listed load to a max of 38.5 grains of ADI 2206H with a 160 grain Norma lead tip boat tail and 20 thou. off the lands with no signs of pressure. The best group being 1" with 35 grains with each ½ grain opening up the group.
Then tried ADI AR 2208 but didn't bother going above 35 grains as again this load also went into 1" using a 6 power vintage Lyman scope.
Also used 35 grains AR 2206H when fire forming some cases with the same result using the same Norma bullet, also tried two at 34 grains using a 170 grain bullet lead tip flat base Sierra bullet when fire forming which also worked ok.
Took me all this time owing to the Corona virus and what seams to me to be a particularly wet winter this year as the clubs 100 and two hundred range I use does not have covered firing points and is only open two days a month. Winter is now more or less over and no Corona virus in the country now except for a few in compulsory lock down in a hotel for fourteen days until tested clear when returning from oversea's and paid for by the government. You have to pay this yourself if you go oversea's for a holiday or business and return.
The rifle weighs in at 10½ pounds on my bath room scales, too heavy for me to carry all day hunting but a pleasure to shoot and a very nice light trigger and what I think is a fantastic piece of wood.

Sounds like a beaut.
Any pics? Especially with the Lyman scope?
Enjoy.

Here we go.
The scope is off another rifle I sold some time ago and shows quite a bit of wear from rubbing on my clothes and pack but the glass is perfect and clear as a bell. Duplex reticle.

Great looking rifle!  My American version 7mm Ackley Krag was responsible for a nice 25" 5x4 mulie last week.  I will be posting pictures of my hunts later this week.  Tom
