	This a photograph that I purchased at gun show from an elderly gentleman who worked for Val Browning.

	I'll have to look at my copy again but I believe that photo is also in the John Browning biography written by his son. "John M. Browning: American Gunmaker." A book I highly recommend.

	I don't know when I first saw a Sharps Borchardt, but my father had a really ratty one that I took apart and tried to clean-up, but it was beyond hope. That would have been about 1960 I guess, but I've loved Borchardt's ever since then. I can't help but think that John Browning looked at a Sharps Borchardt and said "I can put a hammer on this action and make something really neat out of it!"

	According to the book mentioned above and moving from the viewer's left, those standing in front of the Browning Armory are Sam, George, John, Matt, and Ed Browning. The sixth man is identified as Frank Rushton, an English-trained gunsmith that worked for The Boys in the early 1880's. Bill Lawrence

	Isn't Frank the one that brought the ideas of Rigby Flats to them? Read the book a couple times along with a museum visit a time or two - can't recall now..

	An intriguing possibility, Greg. However, if "them" are the Browning brothers, I can't say I've even heard of a Browning-made single shot with Rigby flats. Do any exist? Bill Lawrence
